The 4th annual El Día de los Niños/El Día de los Libros at the Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library was celebrated on April 30, 2009, from 5-7:30 PM in Marvin Auditorium.

We will celebrate children and books with a fiesta, including book displays, storytimes with musical games, poetry, and puppet shows; a carnival, animals , art activities, and games with prizes; poetry and art displays from area school children; a concession stand with free food; a raffle; and music and dancing provided by the children of Holy Family Elementary and Highland Park High School Spanish Club.
