Video Description: The homebound service provided by the Red Carpet Department is just one way the library strives to keep the people in the community connected. This four part video provides a snapshot of the experiences of some of the staff and patrons involved in the deliveries, and gives a glimpse of how important this service is to the people who receive it.

Children of all ages will enjoy this imaginative retelling of the adventures of The Three Little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf, performed in both English and Spanish by the Storytellers at the Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library.

Video Description: At El día de los niños/El día de los libros, we celebrate children and books with a fiesta, including book displays, storytimes with musical games, poetry, and puppet shows; a carnival, animals , art activities, and games with prizes; poetry and art displays from area school children; a concession stand with free food; a raffle; and music and dancing provided by the children of Holy Family Elementary and Highland Park High School Spanish Club.
