The Topeka Room has a collection of Garlinghouse Home Plan catalogs and blueprints that cover a range of home styles from bungalows to colonials to "kamp kabins". Garlinghouse was founded in Topeka in 1907 and continues to produce ready-to-order home plans and blueprints from their offices in Chantilly, Virginia.

Can any of the Garlinghouse bungalow plan books be gotten through an interlibrary loan?
I am thinking of contacting Dover Publications, about reprinting maybe one of these Garlinghouse books as well as any Sterling Homes or Lewis-Liberty Homes catalogs.
Thank you for your help.
The Garlinghouse Home Plan catalogs in the Topeka Room are part of our reference collection and are not available through Interlibrary loan. Check with your local public library for more information on other Interlibrary loan options.
It appears that most of the home plan catalogs are still covered by copyright, so you may want to contact the Garlinghouse company directly. Their website is available at www.familyhomeplans.com
Thank you for the reply.
I think I will check for other sources for the books.
And yes, I am sending Garlinghouse a letter in regards to possible reprints of one of their bungalow plan books by Dover Publications.
