Welcome to the Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library

   Sunday
Open today from 12pm to 9pm  •  August 1, 2010

Teens

Meet us at Oz Island. The Second Lifers Club meets the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month at 6:30-8:30 pm in the Edge at the library. If you cannot attend in “real life” join us virtually. Walk-ins are welcome.

Oz is an island on the Teen Second Life grid owned and operated by Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library. Teens between the ages 13-17 with a library card can acquire an OzIslander account. Fill out the form to the right and click submit. You will receive an email when your account is set-up. Or, drop by the Young Adult desk and let us help you.

Through September, the Club’s project is creating their 3D version of the rejuvenation of the Topeka Riverfront sponsored by the Topeka Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.
