Making Mini Movie Masterpieces: Books with Byte

Aspiring movie makers met to learn trick and tips of making movies from Washburn University Professor David Pownell and Curriculum Research Center librarian Heather Smith-Collins.  Students learned the difference in copyright and creative commons. Under Pownell's tutelage teens learned about tricks in filming and editiong their masterpieces.

Get involved in Teen Read Week by making your own movie. Learn how to make mini movies and upload them to a social networking site.  This years theme is Books with Byte @ Your Library. You need to attend all three sessions to complete your movie!  Registration is limited to 16. For information call 785-580-4565.
