Teen Book Review: New Moon

image

Blog entry by Danielle Locey

New Moon by Stephenie Meyer

New Moon is the sequel to Twilight. New Moon is filled with a lot of adventure and excitement. If you have not read it then I would suggest you read it.

Bella and Edward are still together until her birthday party at the Cullen’s house. Bell goes to open up her present and gets a paper cut. Well since Jasper is the newest vampire in the family he races toward her, because he wants her blood, and Edward pushes her out of the way. Well she falls but she does not know until she starts to bleed and then she finds out that she fell into the table with all of the presents and the cake.

Well Bella finds out that she needs stitches. So Dr. Cullen stitches her up and tells her that it is a good time for her to go home. After that Jasper and the rest of the Cullen family have to move but Edward stays a few more days to tell Bella. He tells her in the forest and she stays there until a guy named Sam Uley comes and finds her. So instead of hanging around with Edward she hangs with Jacob.

She has more fun with Jacob then she has had in a long time. She rides motorcycles, cliff dives, and even finds out Jake’s secrete. To find out more read the book. If you like the books watch the movie that is coming out November 20, 2009.
