Present: Lucas, Adrienne, Colton, Colleen, Brian  Victor, Sawyer, Paige, Kristin

TAB profiles for website and display-

We took pictures of everyone, they decorated bio papers and drew self portraits. These will go in the glass cases in the hall by the teen room. The TAB members not present will email their photos.

TSCPL teen website-

Reminded them to blog.  They gave suggestions for websites to be featured on our website: facebook, ign.com, perfspot.com, youtube

The Edge-

i. Furniture- Everyone agreed that we NEED chairs for the stage.  Suggested mushroom chairs from Target or putting something on the bottom of normal chairs to make them safe for stage surface.  Other chairs or benches around the room would help the booths from being so crowded.

ii. Craft projects- Like the idea of afterschool crafts and agreed to bring magazines for the Girl Culture collage project.

David J’s-

We discussed the current arrangement of room and how we can make it still relevant and not a “forgotten space.”  Needs to showcase the books more now that the room doesn’t need to hold as many people.  Could move more of the chairs into the teen room and use the extra space to make book displays and open up the collection more.

Summer Reading- “Express Yourself”

i. Visual art- I told them about the program ideas we have so far and they were excited about them.

ii. Music- They suggested two more titles for the Sing Along Movies- Hairspray and Rent. They wanted Dustin and Corey to perform again, will ask around to find more bands.  Still liked the idea of guitar lessons.

iii. Dance- Kristin Ross takes dance classes and will ask her academy if they want to do a program.

Etc.-

Colton and Colleen would like to make a movie or series of movies promoting the library.  They will write a script and come film it here after school. They tentatively decided to meet every other Thursday at four.  The plan is the get the movie(s) done in time to debut on the website during Teen Tech Week.
We met in the Edge, but it was very distracting again.  We gained a new person, but she was more interested in flirting with Victor than participating in the meeting and later I found her application crumpled on the floor.  The more casual environment also seemed to make the TAB members more cliquey and off topic.
