Seaman Freshman Wins Cook of the Month

Hogan Popkess, a freshman at Seaman High School, was chosen as Cook of the Month by The Topeka Capital-Journal. He was nominated by his stepmother, Annette Popkess, because she noticed "everyone else would be watching cartoons, but Hogan would have the cooking channel on". Hogan creates gourmet meals such as Baked Salmon with spinach salad and Frozen Chocolate Caramel Parfait. His father, Ed Popkess, supports his son's interest and would even be willing to send him to a french culinary school. Read more.
