Marty, his cousin Grace, their friend Luther and Marty's Uncle, Dr. Travis Wolf set off on another adventure full of top-secret technology.  Anytime you are searching for exciting creatures like the giant squid, there is always someone who wants to stop you.  They will do anything to make sure that you fail. That lets them get all the fame and money associated with the big discovery.  Marty and friends have someone that wants to stop them.  He is clever and evil in the ways he finds to interfere with Marty's plans.

As in the first book, this story is full of excitement, danger and new gadgets.

Roland Smith has a long career with animals and science.  He writes his stories so that they seem real.  You almost believe the gadgets and cryptid exist.  You won't put this book down until you are finished. And of course, the story will continue in another book sometime in the future.  We all hope soon!
