Teen Tech Week 2010 @ your library

Teens talked, and we listened. You wanted your own space, so we built The Edge. This week we are highlighting some of our teen customers' passions and our own committment to staying ahead of the technology curve. Before there was plastic there were gourds.
 

Teens learned all about gourds and decorated one of their own while they were in The Edge.

Open Mic Night was “Spotted” by the Capital Journal

Teen Driving Workshop

The Dare to Prepare Pre-permit Teen & Parent Workshop  will be Thursday, February 25 in the Edge teen activity room.
Registration is required, so call 785-438-6554 to sign up. Parents must attend with their teens.
 
Dare to Prepare is a 90-minute pre-permit presentation for parents and teens that provides critical information teens need to
know before they take the wheel. This presentation from AAA walks attendees through the steps necessary to obtain a permit and a
driver's license, and offers useful tools to help parents and teens through the learning-to-drive process.
