A trivia theme dominates this month's Gaming @ Your Library program.  Trivial Pursuit, Wits & Wagers, Scene It, and Big Brain Academy are the featured games this Sunday, February 7, from 1:00-3:30.

Trivial Pursuit and Wits & Wagers are both board games.  Big Brain Academy is a puzzle solving game on the Wii, and Scene It is a movie trivia game you play on the Xbox 360.

Play one or all three types of games!

The event is intended for adults 18+ and is free! No registration...

Wii Bowling Tournament ParticipantsOn May 14th, the walls of Lexington Park Retirement Community resounded with cheers, groans, high fives, and lots of laughter as residents of six Topeka retirement homes gathered for an afternoon of competition and fun. Proving that the will to compete has no age limit, around fifty participants bowled the afternoon away on the Wii Bowling game which has become a hit with people of all ages. On September 23 the first ever Wii Bowling Competition between the Red Carpet Department and Lexington Park Retirement Community took place before an excited and enthusiastic crowd at Lexington Park.  The competition was fierce, and the scores were close, but in the end the visiting Dawgs pulled out a narrow victory over the LexiCats 1,709-1,594.  The highest single game score was turned in by the Red Carpet Department's very own Megan, who bowled a 214.  Not to be outdone,...
