Once again, our visitors weigh in on the current exhibition. I look forward to reading these and posting them at the close of every exhibit.
Recent Acquisitions is now closed. We'll be down for a couple weeks installing the next show, the Topeka Competition 29, and will open again for First Fridays, November 6 at 9AM. If you missed this show, remember, you can catch them all at our Flickr page. Enjoy!

The library has about 6,000 pieces of art in its collection. And you have an opportunity to see the coolest newly acquired pieces we've got starting Sept. 4, when Recent Acquisitions opens. Find out how the items in the exhibit were selected.

Former Library Foundation Board Chair, Rick Friedstrom, just brought us our copy of the 2009 Aaron Douglas Art Fair poster, and I noticed it features the work of local artist, Stephanie Muñoz-O'Neil.
Our next exhibit, Recent Acquisitions, focuses on new art added to the Library's permanent collection over the past four years. Gallery staff and volunteers selected favorite pieces, and one of them—Library on Blue—is by Stephanie Muñoz-O'Neil! Muñoz-O'Neil created this while the...
