Stopped in traffic on my way to work this morning, I watched a man wrestling an large, wheeled grill over a curb. Several people setting up tents ran over and helped get the BBQ behemoth onto the grass and headed in the direction of the Fourth Annual Aaron Douglas Art Fair, which starts today at 11 AM.

"Showcasing diverse and emerging artists, entertainment, children's activities and food," the fair, which is free and open to the public, has always operated from the Art Park...

... Today was fun. I got to hang out with cool people and talk about art and build eye muscles.

When we discuss what we see, what an artist might be trying to say and consider the techniques they're using, we become better tour guides, docents and art professionals for YOU. Below are pictures from our travel log.

The Printed Image 2 is our national, biennial, juried graphics exhibit. It was established in 2006 and features emerging and veteran printmakers from across the United States using both traditional and breakthrough techniques. This year's show is diverse and visually stunning.
