Congratulations to the winners! We had 27 very creative entries this year which made voting quite a challenge.

A HUGE thank you to all the participating edible book artists and to everyone who attended the reception.

And, it's never too early to start thinking about next year! Mark your calendars for the 2009 TSCPL Edible Book Festival on Friday, April 3, 2009.

I do need to thank Pam for washing all of my chocolate covered dishes! It would have taken me forever to get them clean.

Hi, my family and I had a great time during the event. I’m writing a post for my blog about it. May I seek permission to use photos of the cake for my blog, with due attribution from your website? Thanks.

this is such a cool event. it’s a great teaching tool because it starts people thinking abstractly and working backwards to something concrete. it proves that EVERYONE is capable of thinking conceptually and subjectively when encouraged to be fearless and creative. excellent job. thank you for having this.

Thanks for your comments Heather. I agree that everyone is capable of coming up with a creative entry. That’s what I like so much about this event. The final result is based so much more on abstract ideas and creative thinking, than on technical skill or ability. Everyone has something to contribute.
