Altered book project 2007

Altering a book allows you to express your creativity and recycle at the same time. Paint, collage, cut, glue, rebind, rubber stamp, add to, take away… any artistic expression is encouraged.

Five cases of altered books are currently on display in the library's main hallway. The entries from library staff are so creative and everyone had a little bit different take on the project. In the fall of 2008, the project will be expanded to include altered books created by library patrons.
