Stories to Remember: Creating a Culture of Giving that Embraces the Library
From the Ladies Library Association in 1870 to the present day, philanthropy has helped to create the margin of excellence at the Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library. This presentation traces that charitable tradition by means of compelling stories illustrating the significant impact of gifts-both large and small. It also looks forward by highlighting a few current philanthropic opportunities that align with the library’s organizational priorities.
