Fiction from Christian publishers has come a long way since Janette Oke’s first novel in 1978.   Find out the current trends in the Christian Fiction genre and today’s popular authors, as well as perennial good reads.

Stick a Book in Your Ear:  Download an e-audiobook from your library

Learn about checking out, downloading and playing e-audiobooks, music, and even movies on your computer or portable media device (MP3 Players and Ipods).  These services are free for registered borrowers of the Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library.

Bio:
Deb Bryan graduated from Emporia State University with her Masters of Library Science in December of 1999.  She has worked at the Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library since October of 2000.  She is an avid reader of Christian fiction, loves to listen to audiobooks, and is the facilitator for one of the library’s book discussion groups.  She writes reviews for the library’s webpage and has presented to library conferences, community groups, and teaches many internal training classes for the library.
