Have you ever been interested in taking university courses but thought you didn’t have the time or money to do so? Well, now you can thanks to OpenCourseWare websites. These sites offer free and open digital publications of high quality educational materials that are organized as classes. Just think, you can take general biology, philosophy, literature, calculus, chinese, or economics without having to stress over the exams. You also can work at your own pace. Many universities from all over the world are starting to offer these types of courses. So where does one go to find participating schools? Try searching the term “opencourseware” on your internet browser or clicking on one of these links: OpenCourseWare Consortium and Education Portal. I highly recommend checking out each university’s website since they all offer unique programs and classes.
