There isn’t enough color contrast to see the pictures and words clearly. Actually it’s difficult to distinguish the subject matter of the pictures. The format of the story across several pages, makes it difficult to read.

Thank you so much for your comment. In the future, we’ll make sure not to take a story across several pages. Hopefully the color issue will be fixed in the future too. If not, you can click into the electronic version of this magazine to zoom in. Hopefully that helps a bit! Thanks again!

I’m glad to see the library taking steps to cut costs in all ways possible.  The print version is noticeably different from what we are used to, but the main thing is that the information is still being presented clearly.

Why is September 7th circled on all of the calendars in this issue? I’ve looked through the pages several times and I can’t figure it out.

Lissa, Sept. 7 is Labor Day. The Library is closed. We wanted to have some kind of visual cue on that calendar, so that’s what that is. Thanks!

Ooooh!!! Best possible answer for the September 7th mystery - HOLIDAY! I guess I should have looked at my own calendar instead of the connectnow listing and I would have figured it out! Thank you!
