Slash and Bash Horror and Sci-Fi Festival
If you're a fan of the horror or sci-fi movie genres, you should check out the Slash and Bash Horror and Sci-Fi Festival this weekend, September 25-27, at the Holiday Inn Holidome at 605 SW Fairlawn. The fun begins Friday night and will continue throughout the entire weekend showing such classics as Escape From New York, Phantasm, Swamp Thing, and Army of Darkness. The special guest of honor for the weekend is going to be actress Adrienne Barbeau, who starred in Swamp Thing and Escape From New York, as well as other classics such as Creepshow and The Fog.
