If you like romantic comedies and sports comedies, you will probably enjoy the complete first season of My Boys on DVD.

The half-hour sitcom features P.J. Franklin, a spunky tomboy sports writer for the Chicago Cubs, and a group of guy friends that includes her longtime best friend and former college roommate, a reporter for another newspaper, her older brother and several other wacky guys. The group is brought together regularly to play poker at P.J.‘s apartment, or to hang out at Crowley’s, the neighborhood bar. Following the ups and downs of dating, work and friendships in a twenty-something setting, this show is kind of like Friends, but with a focus on sports, and set in downtown Chicago.  With dialogue and witty writing that will appeal to both men and women, this series is light, amusing and lots of fun! I can’t wait to see Season 2!
