Tongue Coral

Meet our Tongue Coral
Also known as Slipper Coral, Tongue Coral is one of the easiest hard corals to maintain. Its shape is often long and narrow, like a tongue. It dwells primarily on the bottom of the aquarium on sand or gravel, rather than rocks that can easily damage their tissue. It’s usually brown, but may also be cream or green in color.

What does it eat?
Algae, calcium, micro-plankton, brine shrimp

Where is it found?
Indo-Pacific

The tongue coral is found in the Indo-Pacific

Fun Fact
Tongue Coral can survive in a wide range of conditions and acclimates best in low water flow and indirect lighting.
