Welcome to the Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library

Come Play Around the World

Sunday, November 8,
2:00-3:00 pm
Marvin Auditorium 101BC.

Join us on a trip around the world as we visit Japan to make and race an origami frog. Then we’re off to Costa Rica to play quientera la moneda (Who has the Coin?). We’ll shove ha’penny in England, make an Inuit ball toss game in Canada, then it’s back to the U.S.A. for a chance to win in the bookwalk.
Have you ever wondered what games are played in other countries? Children are children everywhere and they all love to play. You can enjoy playing games from around the world at our Fall Reading ending program, Play Around the World. After we return from our world travels, we'll have our Grand Prize drawings. We will be giving away four sets of four tickets to Disney on Ice and three Barnes and Noble gift cards. So be sure to complete and turn in your Fall Reading log for a chance to win some really great prizes!
