Welcome to the Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library

Boomer the Bear visits a Factory and has a Fairy Tale Experience

This summer was so much fun!  I had many adventures to different places.  I traveled to Dallas, Texas with Sharon.   We visited a factory where they make cosmetics.  That is a fancy word for lipstick, makeup, and other pretty things!  I loved riding the forklift and seeing the laboratory.  Safety is really important in a factory so I made sure to bring along my lab coat and safety goggles.  We also visited the Headquarters, and I got to sit at the desk of the President of Mary Kay United States.  On the awards night, I had to get all dressed up in my tuxedo (tux).  It was really fancy!  We were then magically transformed into a fairy tale world.  There was so much to see and do!  I made a lot of new friends and had such a good time!  Watch my video to see the pictures from my trip here.  I will write about my other adventures later.  See you soon.

I thought this was very well done. I hope that Boomer will take more trips and share them with us.
