Shawnee County Recycling Survey (available until February 7th)

The Shawnee County Recycling & Refuse departments are seeking the public’s input on a New Sustainable Recycling Service. The survey website reports "the free drop-off system is no longer able to handle the growing need for a more sustainable recycling service."

The county has outgrown the presently offered free recycling drop-off service. County residents are requested to either call or go online to complete a very short survey.

To complete the survey by telephone, please call 785-291-4940 and follow the prompts. To complete the survey online, please visit www.snco.us/recycling and click on Survey.

Both surveys will be available from 1 a.m. Monday, February 1, 2010 until 11:59 p.m. Sunday, February 7, 2010.
