In my Kitchen-Tiger Cake

image

Have you ever heard of Tiger Cake? I had not until I saw this cake mentioned in a blog. But, the recipe was not included. There was however a link to a book Bittersweet by Alice Medrich. I found it in the catalog and lucky for me it was checked in. After looking at the recipe I wasn't so sure it would work. But after eating the results it was very very good.

What is so unusual about this cake is that it has olive oil, and white pepper in it. I also did not have to marble the cake, it marbles itself. It is very easy and it tastes divine. So, if you are looking for Tiger Cake, check out the book and let me know what you think.

By the way, the plate that my cake is on came from the Trash to Treasures sale at Brewster Place. It is a very sweet plate and it was a very sweet price too.
