The Great American Barbecue Festival

Great food and live music—a good combination that sets the stage for a festive 3-day (Fri-Sun) event. Check out the Great American Barbecue Festival’s website, purchase tickets early and root for your favorite cooking team. Single day passes are $10.00; 3-day passes are $15.00. Children 12 and under get in free. Tickets for the BBQ Blues and Auction Friday night benefit the organization’s charities and are $25.00 each for adults. To see gate times and events for each day click on Things to Do, and be sure to look at the scheduled bands to help you decide if you want to buy a 3-day pass.

Where is all this happening? At the Capitol Federal Park at Sandstone in Bonner Springs, Kansas this weekend, May 22-24. Enjoy!
