Welcome to the Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library
A compass for people without a clear career path, the Kansas Career Pipeline delivers credible information that can help you pick a career with certainty.
Theresa Steinlage from the Kansas Career Pipeline will present three-hour computer classes about this job search resource for teens and adults in August and September at the library. The first session at the library, Kansas Career Pipeline for the Student, will be held from 1:30-4:30pm August 12.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for students and adults to be able to use tools and assessments to take charge of where they are going with their careers,” said public services manager Marie Pyko, who has been instrumental in developing the library’s new Jobs and Careers Neighborhood. “The Kansas Career Pipeline provides a place to create documents like resumes and cover letters, helps keeps the job search organized, and acts as a one-stop-shopping toolkit for participants to take with them on their job search”
