Welcome to the Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library

Clicking the Sticks-KIP

image

Do you KIP? In case you do not know, KIP means knit in public. Well, the world wide knit in public day is coming up soon. Many people as well as organizations are setting up KIP's so that people can come out and just knit or crochet in public. The next KIP is set for June 13th and 14th or June 20th and June 21st.

I looked at the website http://www.wwkipday.com/find_kip.htm to see if there was an something being organized here in Topeka. And there is. The Topeka Crochet Guild is going to be at Gage Park June 13 from 1 to 3 at the west side of the Mini-Train Depot. You will need to bring a chair, something to drink, a snack or lunch and your knitting or crocheting. You can also bring a friend too. So, if you want to have some fun knitting in a great setting go to the KIP in Gage Park and keep clicking the sticks.
