Fill your child's hot summer days with reading, social stuides, activity, AND prizes!  Be Creative/Express Yourself Summer Reading program kicks off at the Library on May 27 from 9-11 AM and 1-3 PM.  Choose from various programs by referring to the June/July Connect Now. 

The scavenger hunt sends participants all over the city following one clue after another while learning about the various attractions that make the community a "treasure".  Pick up materials at Visit Topeka now through July 15.

The Summer Scorecard rewards a child for playing a team sport or just enjoying a hike, skateboarding, biking, or swimming--all that fun stuff kids do in the out of doors!  Simply gorge yourself on a bunch of fresh fruits and veggies from the Farmer's Market and SCORE!  Begins May 25 with special events on June 21 and the Grand Finale on July 31.  

The break from school can be exciting--minds become smarter and bodies become stronger--a balanced vacation!
