Arizona Highways

Do you depend exclusively on Web sites to help you plan vacations?  If you want to learn more about a place, it’s always a good idea to review a variety of sources, including magazines.

The library has numerous travel magazines on the shelves in the reading room.  If you would like to look at previous issues, just stop by the Reference desk and we’ll be happy to retrieve them for you.

Today’s featured magazine is Arizona Highways, which is a feast for the eyes with page after page of spectacular photography.  It’s a good resource to help you decide where to spend time in Arizona if you’re planning a trip to the Southwest.

The June 2007 issue is devoted specifically to the ever popular Grand Canyon, and includes hiking recommendations, whitewater rafting info and where to go and who to call if you want to see a condor in the wild.  Be sure to check out their website for expanded guides and trip planning information at www.arizonahighways.com.
