Books Outside the Binding

We expect to find books at a library, but chances are you've never seen books quite like these.
Sabatini Gallery volunteer and Topeka sculptor, Bob Heintzelman, displays his metalwork through September 22.

When we discuss what we see, what an artist might be trying to say and consider the techniques they're using, we become better tour guides, docents and art professionals for YOU. Below are pictures from our travel log.
The Sabatini Art Gallery is located a short distance from the Library entrance, just to the right of the rotunda. Exhibits, programs and events are free, casual and open to the public.
Hours are the same as the Library, except when closed for change of exhibition.
