Today’s Girl Culture Program: Illusions of Me
Short and sweet: The Sabatini Gallery is hosting an interactive workshop today, Illusions of Me. It takes place in the gallery from 4:30-5:30. Join YWCA’s Debra Rukes in a Girl Culture discussion, draw your self-portrait, and watch Fabrications of Beauty video. PS—This is just for you teens. We hope to see you there! How did it go?
It went really well. The kids really got into the discussion, and didn’t even notice when other people came in to the gallery to talk about the exhibit. It was a great use of the art to educate and share ideas.
