image

And the winners are…

Best in Show
“The Hunchback of Notre Dame” by Denise Eulert and Carol Morgan

Runner-up
“The Very Hungry Caterpillar” by Stephanie and KayLynn Hall

Most Disgusting
“Where the Sidewalk Ends” by Lissa, Daniel, and Kivrin

Most Likely to be Devoured
“Bugs Bunny” by Shannon, Sandra, and Austin

Congratulations to the winners! We had 19 fantastic entries this year so competition was stiff.

A big THANK YOU to everyone who brought an edible book, looked at an edible book, or voted for an edible book. It’s audience participation that makes this event so much fun.

And, it’s never too early to start thinking about next year! Mark your calendars for the 2010 Edible Book Festival on Friday, April 2, 2010.

Very creative ideas! I especially like the Bugs Bunny cake and The Hunchback of Notre Dame took a lot of work! Great idea!

Hooray for KayLynn! I understand from her dad that she was responsible for most of the planning and creative vision. How old is KayLynn? 5? Woo! Good job.
