Widowed and independent, Mildred Benjamin who works as typesetter for one of the local newspapers, begins to investigate the intrigue and odd happenings around Tombstone. She becomes acquainted with Jesse, but finds that she may have made some dangerous enemies. The stakes are high and the tension is palpable on this new take on the Old West, where death can come at any moment.
