Summer is here and you know what that means…lots and lots of movie releases! What should you be reading (besides Harry Potter) to prepare yourself for the the theater? Here is a list, based on information I gleaned from the Give ‘Em What They Want blog and IMDB:

The Time Traveller’s Wife, directed by Robert Schwentke and starring Rachel McAdams and Eric Bana.

I thought that I Love You, Beth Cooper was a really fun book, very heavy on the movie references, but it was NOT written for teenagers so it will be interesting to see how it is adapted for what is clearly now a teen audience. When I reviewed it for the library’s site a few years ago, I linked to all of the movies it quotes. Read my review here. I love these lists of book/movie connections, thanks for compiling this Deb!
