Most popular books of 2009 at your library

James Patterson had the two most popular books in the library in 2009 and three of the top ten. Other bestselling authors such as Janet Evanovich and Nora Roberts filled out the rest of the list with 2009 releases. The one exception was Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird, which was published in 1960 and ranked number 6 on the list. To Kill a Mockingbird was the Big Read choice in February 2009, which was probably the main reason for its renewed popularity here at our library.
