Lost in the Stacks: Enslaved by Ducks

image

The tyranny of the animals began innocently enough for Bob Tarte and his wife Linda with the impulsive purchase of a bad-tempered bunny named Binky.  This electrical cord-chewing, poop pellet-scattering, escape artist soon showed his owners that it was Binky, not Bob, who ruled the roost.  Sadder, but not wiser, the Tartes kept acquiring animals until they were not only enslaved by nine ducks, but also by parrots, parakeets, bunnies, cats, turkeys and two very endearing geese (not unsurprisingly, Bob also acquired a Zoloft prescription).  This is no All Creatures Great and Small, but rather a hilarious look at how topsy-turvy life can be when the animals are in charge.
