Look Again by Lisa Scottoline
This book grabs you from page one. It is a book that you can’t put down. It begins with reporter Ellen Gleeson receiving a white card in the mail with a picture of a missing boy. Is this boy her adopted son? Is the picture of the little boy that she adopted two years ago when she did a story on him while he was in the hospital quite sick with a heart problem? It is a story of a mother’s worst nightmare. How does Ellen deal with it? You get to meet Connie, the babysitter, Ellen’s coworkers and the new love in her life.
This is a book that you can’t read fast enough or turn the pages fast enough to find out what is going to happen next. The ending has a surprise twist that will surprise even the most die-hard mystery readers. I highly recommend this book. It is one of Lisa Scottline’s best books to date.
