In Grave Surprise by Charlaine Harris, Harper must solve the case before they end up in jail. This is the second book about her adventures, and the first book is Grave Sight. Harris has other mystery series and is the author of the Southern Vampire Series with Sookie Stackhouse. Grave Surprise has a darker tone than some of her other books but is still just as entertaining.
