Aline Kominsky-Crumb has been writing and illustrating her own autobiographical comics since the 1960s. In her own pictures and words she describes meeting and marrying artist R.Crumb, the time they spent in San Francisco in the '60s, living in France with their daughter Sophie, and her experience as a female comic book author. She is a self-proclaimed neurotic, and I had a lot of fun reading all the sordid details of her life and laughing out loud at her crazy adventures. The book also contains several of the comics Aline and Robert did together which are not only entertaining comics but also a hilarious and sometimes heartfelt look inside their marriage and life with their daughter.
