From the people who brought us Porn for women comes a new book that is sure to satisfy new moms and other appreciative readers....

As you might expect, the new book Porn for new moms from the Cambridge Women's Pornography Cooperative with photographs by Susan Anderson features a variety of handsome men posing for the camera. What might pleasantly surprise you is than many of the men are also cradling adorable babies against a backdrop of beautifully decorated homes or meticulously landscaped yards. The captions on these photos are both hilarious and insightful, as each man dares to answer the question "What really turns new mothers on?" with a variety of offers of child-care and housework, plus plenty of acceptance and reassurance for the new mother.

At the back of the book, a subject index labeled "What makes you hot?" refers the reader to specific pages on topics like "sweatpants, getting to wear them all the time" and "meals, prepared for you."

While this book is shelved in the humor section here at the library, I think it would appeal to anyone reading books from the sections on pregnancy or parenting. This is the most uplifting and cheerful book I've ever read about motherhood!
