Infection of Violence

image

Ordinary people are turning into killers who do horrific things to their victims and even to themselves. The government is desperate to find out what is happening, but so far none of the killers have been taken alive, and because their bodies decompose at an alarming rate there is very little to go on. It’s up to Operative Dew Phillips and Dr. Margaret Montoya to discover the cause, and they find that the source is a bioengineered parasite. The technology is so advanced that it is beyond understanding, but worst of all no one knows who made the parasite or why.

This is a top secret operation, and the public is unaware of what is going on. So when Perry Dawson begins to itch and welts in the shape of triangles begin to appear he has no idea that something is trying to take over his body. The itching and welts are maddening, and his thoughts are becoming violent, but Perry is fighting these urges and his survival could be the hope humanity needs.  Infected: A Novel by Scott Sigler follows Dew, Margaret, and Perry as each for their own reasons battle the parasite that in the end might just destroy the world.
