Ankh-Morpork is like no other city: anything can happen there and just about does. Under the simmering heat is a rising threat- Koom Valley- where the anniversary of the combat between dwarves and trolls is fast approaching, and the two groups are gearing up for another big fight. Nothing is sacred except for Sam reading to young Sam every night at six o’clock. From vampires on the watch to the gooseberry Vines carries with him, this installment of the Discworld Series is sure to entertain.
