A Dangerous Deal

image

Would you give your right arm for two million dollars? Michael Fox’s life has been in a downward spiral and now he’s homeless and desperate. On the verge of ending his life, Fox has been given an offer he can’t refuse. Fox is left handed so maybe losing his right arm wouldn’t be so bad and the money might be the ticket to a new and better life. So he decides to seal the bargain and make the deal.

Fox is taken to a private hospital that is isolated and in the country. The charismatic doctor behind the proposal is a genius who seems to just need some help with his experiments in order to help his sick son. Soon after his arrival, Fox takes a late night excursion in the hospital and discovers that things aren’t exactly right, and that there is more to the doctor and his experiments. The warning bells are going off for Fox, but it may be too late for him to change the course that has been set. In The Jigsaw Man by Gord Rollo, Fox is trying to save more than his just his arm in this interesting take on the mad scientist story.
