24 hours a day, 7 days a week, the library delivers best-selling audiobooks, music, video and ebooks for download. On this page, you will find information about using NetLibrary and OverDrive to download audiobook, music, video and e-book files to your computer over the internet. These files can then be transferred to a portable listening or viewing device such as a MP3 player, iPod, laptop, netbook, cell phone or Sony Reader (for e-books).
Using our downloadable audiobooks and other media is as easy as:
1. Browse
The library is able to offer you downloadable audiobook (and other media) content through two service providers - NetLibrary and Overdrive. The best way to see what content is available is to go directly to either the NetLibrary or Overdrive website. NetLibrary offers only downloadable audiobooks; OverDrive offers audiobooks, music, video and ebooks for download. You may also use see downloadable audiobooks when searching the TSCPL catalog, where they are identified as "electronic resources." Downloadable audiobooks listed in our catalog will have a link to either OverDrive or NetLibrary in their detailed record.
2. Check Out
The first time you use NetLibrary you will need to register for a free account. If you are using it outside the library building, you will be prompted to enter your library card number before you can create your account. Once you have created your NetLibrary account you will have a NetLibrary username and password that you can use to log into www.netlibrary.com.
To use OverDrive, you simply need to log in to the site using your TSCPL library card number and PIN.
