Wouldn’t it be great to have the library at hand wherever you are, whenever you need it? We saw this question as an opportunity to transform the library’s Web site into a new digital branch library.

The Story Zone is a central place for preschool story times, with a lively, inviting environment. This highly visible area connects our youngest pre-readers with books, stories, and ideas through imaginative play.

MP3 audiobooks now downloadable for iPod and Zune

iPod compatible MP3 format audiobooks are now available to download from Overdrive http://kansas.lib.overdrive.com/ using your library card.

Recycle used phone directories August 1–8 at the library

You can join AT&T Real Yellow Pages and the Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library in our efforts to recycle by dropping off used directories, August 1–8 in
the bins in the parking lot alongside Washburn Ave.
