Welcome to the Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library

Miracle on Kansas Avenue Parade

image

Jack in Victorian holiday attire

November 29 was cold and rainy but brave library staff and their familes shared their holiday spirit at the MKA 2008 parade. The children sitting on large books shouted "come see us at the library" Jack dressed in full Victorian holiday attire read The Night Before Christmas to the children. Large colorful book covers of many cultural holidays adorned the float.
